About the Author
Ari Siletz is a prominent Iranian short-story writer. Born and raised in Iran, Siletz grew up during the era of Shah Muhammad Reza. Though he studied in England and America as a young adult, much of Siletz's writing has focused on Iran's past and present, its political and religious upheavals, and its clashes between tradition and modernity.
His book "The Mullah with No Legs and Other Stories" was written in 1992 and is about modern Iranian society.
